Emily Boltcreed

Emily is a multidisciplinary engineer and writer, passionate about synthesizing complex ideas and making positive scientific change to alleviate suffering. She is a PhD candidate in Biomedical Engineering studying the neural immune response and a long-time writer and scientific communicator.
Emily earned her B.S in Biomedical Physics from Northeastern University and currently studies at Stevens Institute of Technology. She believes in the power of bridging the knowledge gap in S.T.E.M  and making it  a space for everyone through writing, education, and advocacy.
When she's not in the lab, you can find Emily on a long-distance run, at the library, or spending time with her dog, cat, and husband.
