Novartis needed senior scientific leaders to communicate complex biomedical work with confidence and credibility across high-stakes settings—media engagement, external visibility moments, and critical internal meetings—without losing scientific rigor.
Thinkubator Media designed a six-participant program split into two cohorts to meet leaders where they are: Media Training 101 for three leaders with limited public-facing experience and Media Training 201 for three leaders needing advanced polish and high-stakes preparation.
Each cohort received a customized virtual training, covering interview and pivot techniques, messaging frameworks for complex science, audience awareness and body language, and leadership presence, supported by cohort-specific materials and revised decks.
Each participant also received 1:1 sessions for rehearsal, messaging review, mock interviews or simulations, and preparation for specific opportunities, such as Investor Day.
Leaders left with practical, repeatable communication tools and tailored support they could apply immediately, as well as post-session resources, including guides and templates to ensure continued success.
